Service FAQ

Lash Lift FAQ's

What is a Lash Lift?

A Lash Lift works with your natural lashes to create a luscious semi-permanent curl that will last between 6-8 weeks. I use techniques combining a lifting lotion and silicone rods to lift your natural lashes, making them look longer and fuller. This is a great recommendation for an alternative to eyelash extensions.

How can I prepare for a Lash Lift?

Prior to your appointment, please make sure your eyes are free of makeup, mascara, and false eyelashes. If you wear contact lenses please make sure they are removed prior to treatment.

What is the after care for a Lash Lift?

In the first 24 hours:

- Do not apply mascara or eye makeup

- Do not sweat

- Do not use oil based products

- Do not rub your eyes

- Do not go into a sauna

- Do not get your eyelashes wet

Brow Lamination FAQ'S

What is Brow Lamination?

Brow Lamination is the secret to help thicken, and enhance your natural brows. Similar to the idea of a lash lift, brow lamination involves the application of setting lotion that gives the brow hair a semi-permanent "brushed up" and lifted look. Whether you have thin, thick, or over plucked eyebrows, brow laminating is the perfect solution to give you the everyday look you want, without effort.

How can I prepare for a Brow Lamination appointment?

We recommend you follow whats below:

- Avoid using exfoliants, retinoids, or AHA's on your face or one to two weeks before your brow lamination.

- Avoid tweezing at least one week prior to your appointment

- Please come to your appointment without any makeup on your face

- If interested we can add a brow waxing if needed

What is the after care for a Brow Lamination?

In the first 24 hours:

- Do not get your eyebrows wet (avoid shower and bath)

- Do not go into a sauna

- Do not use oil based products

- Don't apply heavy creams, makeup, or makeup remover to your brows

- Do not sleep directly on your brows. (Easier said than done for our stomach sleepers but this is so important!)

Facial FAQ'S

What exactly is a Facial?

A facial is a family of skin treatments for the face that includes exfoliation, extractions, creams, facial masks, peels, massage and SPF. Facials are used for general skin health, and they address and correct certain skin conditions and improve the overall appearance and texture of your skin.

- Let me know before your appointment if there are any allergies you have to certain products

- Do not wear makeup to your appointment

What are Facials good for?

Facials are a great option for anyone looking for clear, and balanced complexion. They help to provide deep cleansing with the mixture of professional grade products, and the knowledge of a professional esthetician who understands skin conditions and anatomy.

What are the benefits of a Facial?

Waxing FAQ'S

May I have a Waxing Service with my Facial Appointment?

Sure you can! Be sure to book them together at the same time so we know set the right amount of time aside to finish both.

How can I prepare for my Brazilian Wax?

- Make sure you have about 3 weeks of hair growth

- Take a warm shower or bath 2 hours before your brazilian, this will soften up your skin and open your pores

- Avoid caffeine and alcohol 3 hours before

- Take Ibuprofen 30 minutes before your appointment

- Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate!!!

Why wax?

Waxing will leave you smoother longer. Hair's grow back thinner, and in some cases it doesn't grow back at all. Waxing can help decrease hyperpigmentation and ingrown hairs. Shaving normally only last a week or two while waxing can last 2-4 weeks!
